The goal of trip # three: to travel to a state we've never visited. However, before driving to Arkansas we revisited Dale Hollow Lake where Mark and I married 32 years ago and where my love of camping originated in 1965 when my Mom & Dad started a tradition of camping every summer for two weeks in a pop up trailer. We camped for five days with cousin's Jim & Donna and loved being in a place where family and friends could drop by for a visit. Though this wasn't meant to be a practice trip we did get some practice camping in the rain when a storm cell with a rainfall rate of 2 inches per hour settled over our campground. We discovered a few areas in the trailer with small leaks that we plan to troubleshoot as we travel. Our spirits weren't dampened and we had a ball at Dale Hollow Lake. Obey River Campground is an Army Corp of Engineer facility. We were in campsite # 116 with a great view of the lake.
